Emotional Freedom Technique

 

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a form of Alternative medicine that manipulates the body's energy field by tapping on acupuncture points while a specific traumatic memory is focussed on, in order to alleviate a psychological problem. EFT has been reported successful in thousands of cases covering a huge range of emotional, health and performance issues. It often works where nothing else will. Best of all, anyone can learn and use EFT and you don't need specialized schooling for it.

It was introduced in 1995 by Gary Craig, based on a process called TFT developed by Roger Callahan, PhD.

I have found EFT to be a very useful tool in conjunction with other coaching methodoligies.
